Terms & Conditions

Basic terms governing freelance web design services provided by PixelForge Web Design.

1. Services

PixelForge Web Design provides freelance website design and related website support services, which may include website redesigns, eCommerce layout work, mockups, platform setup, domain connection assistance, launch support, and other services agreed upon with the client.

2. Project Scope

The scope, deliverables, timeline, revisions, and pricing for each project should be agreed upon before work begins. Requests outside the agreed scope may require additional time and fees.

3. Client Responsibilities

Clients are responsible for providing accurate content, images, logos, account access, approvals, and other materials needed to complete the project. Delays in providing these items may affect project timelines.

4. Payments

Payment terms may vary by project and will be communicated before work begins. PixelForge's standard freelance web-design rate is $50 per hour unless a different project rate is agreed upon in writing. A $100 upfront project deposit is required to reserve project time and is credited toward the first two hours of work. Once work has begun, this deposit is non-refundable if the client cancels or stops the project. Projects requested in less than 30 days may also include an expedited fee, beginning at $100 and increasing for tighter deadlines. Additional milestone payments may be required, and final deliverables may be withheld until outstanding balances are paid.

5. Revisions

Reasonable revisions may be included based on the agreed project scope. Significant redesigns, new features, or additional pages requested after approval may be treated as additional work.

6. Third-Party Platforms

PixelForge may work with third-party services such as Wix, Hostinger, Shopify, WordPress, Netlify, domain registrars, payment processors, plugins, and other external tools. PixelForge is not responsible for outages, policy changes, pricing changes, account restrictions, or service interruptions caused by third parties.

7. Intellectual Property

Clients are responsible for ensuring they have permission to use all text, images, logos, trademarks, media, and other content they provide. Ownership of custom design work and deliverables may transfer upon full payment unless otherwise agreed in writing.

8. Limitation of Liability

PixelForge is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of a website, third-party platform issues, lost data, lost revenue, or business interruption.

9. Time Tracking & Billing Records

For hourly projects, PixelForge records billable work by date and time. Project time records may be provided to the client to document the hours applied to the project and support transparent billing. Logged time may include agreed design, development, setup, research, revisions, troubleshooting, project-related communication, and other work performed within the project scope.

10. Acceptance

By hiring PixelForge or using services provided through this website, the client acknowledges these basic terms unless different terms are agreed upon in writing for a specific project.
